Project Indlela: Pathways to Legality: Stakeholder Webinar, Tues, 11 November 12h00 – 14h00

Interest is riding high in next week’s Project Indlela Pathways to Legality cannabis stakeholder webinar. The ‘round table’ comes at a time of increased concern among local cannabis organizations, as government has yet to release promised industry guidelines, leaving many operators navigating a climate of uncertainty.

The Project Indlela Pathways to Legality webinar is scheduled for Tuesday, 11 November, from 12h00 to 14h00.

Project Indlela is primarily driven by the South African Cannabis Club Alliance (SACCA), with the goal of ensuring that all stakeholders are included in the development of future cannabis legislation.

SACCA’s Albertus van Jaarsveldt explains, “There is an overwhelming number of operators in the cannabis industry who are eager to be compliant but are unsure of how to navigate the current regulatory landscape.”

Van Jaarsveldt says the desired outcomes from the 11 November webinar include:

·      Clearer understanding of compliance requirements for operators.

·      Strengthened collaboration across cannabis organizations.

·      Pathways to broader acceptance of the private cannabis club model.

“The webinar is the start of a process to foster transparency and inclusivity,” says Van Jaarsveldt. “By engaging all stakeholders, we aim to support a legal framework that acknowledges the diversity and value of private cannabis clubs in South Africa.”
