Regulatory Blockage is Now a Crisis: How do we Mobilize to Create Solutions?
The Cannabis Crisis Committee with the support of Cannabiz Africa invites stakeholders to an online meeting on Thursday, 29 October 2026. The purpose of the meeting is to craft a sector response to the crisis that is unfolding in front of us. The key focus is to persuade SAHPRA to clarify the regulatory pathway for medical cannabis access since it halted the approval of all Section 21 authorisations without providing any alternative. The CCC’s approach is that regulatory clarity is urgently required for both medical and general adult use in order for the sector to move forward. Presenters to be announced.
